Welcome to April…Credit Union Youth Month!

April is here, and that means it’s time to celebrate Credit Union Youth Month! This month, we’re shining a spotlight on our two youth accounts and the importance of building smart savings habits from an early age. We’re excited to offer fun and engaging resources, including downloadable puzzles and games, to help make learning about money fun. Plus, be sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram social media channels for helpful parenting tips on teaching kids the value of saving. Let’s work together to help our youth build a strong financial foundation for the future!

Monty Moose Youth Savers

Our Monty Moose Youth Savers Program was developed to teach our young Members the benefits of saving money. The Monty Moose Account is designed specifically for children 12 and under and has the following features:

• No minimum balance

• No minimum transaction amount

• Monty Moose dollars are earned with each deposit made to the account; Monty Moose dollars can be accumulated and used to purchase gifts from the Monty Moose Drawer

• Dividends are paid monthly on the average daily balance

FOCUS

This is a financial program designed for teens ages 13 to 18 who have not yet graduated from high school. This program serves as an extension to our youth saver program known as Monty Moose. To become a FOCUS Member and start enjoying all the benefits, simply open a savings account.

Features:

• $25 minimum balance

• Dividends paid monthly on the average daily balance

• Quarterly statements (e-Statements also available)

As a teen FOCUS Member, you may be able to apply for many 'adult' financial services such as Checking Accounts, Home Banking, ATM cards, Debit cards, Certificates, and Youth Loans.
